1. PRACTICE THIS WEEK

For the foreseeable future, the following training schedule will be put into place:

· Tuesday Nights – Training will be held at Jesuit College Prep

· Thursday Nights – Training will be held at Norbuck Park

· Thursday Night Social at the Blarney Stone - $2 beer (drafts and bottles) and $3 Blasters (and they are HUGE) – (girl on girl kissing has been a frequent occurrence in the last week) hmmmmm…..

2. GAMES THIS WEEKEND

Dallas RFC will be playing host to 3 games this weekend at Lake Highlands Park.

a. Around 1:00ish – Dallas RFC Old Boys vs. MSU

b. 2:00 PM Dallas RFC A side vs. Baton Rouge RFC A side

c. 3:30 PM Dallas RFC B side vs. Baton Rouge RFC B side

Come out and support all the teams from Dallas RFC. Lake Highlands Park is located on the East Side of White Rock Lake at the corner of Buckner Blvd and Lake Highlands Drive.

3. OLD BOYS

Huge weekend for the Old Boys. Contact Bill Croskey if you are interested in playing. Currently it looks like 2 – 25 minute halves will be played. But if you Old Guys will contact Bill, then we might round these halves up to 40’s.

Come out and support the team.

4. St. Pats – Saturday March 17, 2007

Dallas RFC will have a float in this year’s parade. We need a few more sponsors to make it happen. A $280 donation will get you 1000 cups.

We are also looking for $50 sponsors. This will get your name or logo or anything you want on the back of some new t-shirts.

We need two more sponsors on the cups and 10 sponsors for the shirts.

Dallas RFC will play 2 games Saturday against the Woodlands. Saturday morning Dallas RFC will meet at the Blarney Stone on Lower Greenville at 8:30 AM. For directions to the Woodlands pitch and After Match Social – see below.

Montgomery College
Home games are played at our new pitch at Montgomery College - Directions coming from the North or South is to take the FM 242 Exit off I-45, head west and at third set of traffic lights, take a right into Montgomery College. Sign at gate will say West Parking, Tennis Courts and Athletic Fields. Follow this road and park near the tennis courts on walk past the tennis courts and the pitch is on north side of the tennis courts. [Note that from I-45 the set of traffic lights is St Lukes Way - /Windsor Lakes Blvd, the entrance to our pitch is two lights after this one]
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL IS ALLOWED AT THIS PITCH - THE COLLEGE HAS POLICE ON SITE WHO WILL BE DOING REGULAR INSPECTIONS AND ANYONE CAUGHT WITH ALCOHOL WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE AND PROBABLY SUFFER OTHER PENALTIES FROM THE POLICE.

When you get back on I45 from the pitch, go south towards Houston, take the Rayford-Sawdust exit, stay on feeder going south until you pass a large truck stop and then take the immediate right and the ice house will be on right hand side.

THIS THURSDAY

Thursday Practice will be held at Jesuit College Prep. Training Starts at 7:00 PM

Jesuit is located near the 635 and the Tollway. The address is 12345 Inwood Road in Dallas.

THIS SATURDAY

Dallas RFC will travel to the Woodlands just north of Houston to play the Woodlands RFC. Map and departure times will be discussed Thursday night at training. Saturday AM the team will meet at the Blarney Stone. KO A side will be 2:0o PM and KO B side will be 3:30 PM.
