How to Participate

  • Each team may consist of up to 4 players.
  • Entry cost is $60.00 (USD) per team.
  • Prize is a minimum of $300.00 (USD) to the winning team.
    • This amount may increase depending on the number of entries for the tournament. If the prize amount increases, all teams will be notified via email on the day of the tournament (9/12/2020).
  • Each team must register by completing the Google Form (“Register Now” button above and at the end of this page). After completing the Google Form, a link to paying via PayPal will be shown on the screen.
  • Payment must be made via PayPal (see our site’s Shop page) or Venmo (@DallasRugby).
  • Registration is not complete until payment is received.
  • The Google Form will require the following information:
    • Team Name
    • Team Captain’s Name & Email Address;
    • Activision ID for ALL team members;
    • Streamer name for the person who will be streaming.
  • Registration deadline is Friday before event (Sept. 11, 2020 at 8:00 PM CST).
  • Once registered, teams are required to play with the same teammates throughout entire tournament. Substitutions of players will not be allowed.
  • Changes to roster must be submitted before the beginning of the tournament and brought to the attention of the tournament director (COD@dallasrugby.org).
  • Should entrants need to be registered after deadline, permission from the tournament director will need to be granted.
  • All players must have a minimum of 20 Warzone games played on Activision ID account.
  • All countries are authorized to participate in event.



  • When: September 12, 2020, 10:00 AM (CST) – 1:00 PM (CST).
    • Scores must be submitted by 1:30 PM.
  • All game(s) will be played using Call of Duty Warzone: Battle Royale (QUADS).
    • You can only play with the players who were registered for your team on the Google Form, meaning no auto-fill if your team has less than 4 players.
    • Example: If your registered team only has 2 players, you must still play Quads and may NOT auto-fill.
    • (If you do not have 4 players and are interested in adding others, email COD@dallasrugby.org and we can help match you with others looking for a team).
  • Cross-play must be enabled.
  • Best 3 matches will be submitted.
  • You have until the end of the 3rd hour to start a new match. However, all scores must be submitted by 1:30 PM (CST).
  • Main accounts will only be used for this tournament.
  • Each game submitted must be streamed.
  • If a teammate needs to leave during the duration of tournament, remaining teammates can keep playing but the addition of a new teammate or using the “auto-fill” option during gameplay is prohibited.
  • Playing with teammates that are not registered for the event will result in disqualification.
  • If the player streaming the event leaves and no one else is available to stream from your team, points made without streaming will not be counted.
  • You and your team are responsible for any technical, or connectivity issues.


  • You will need at least one person on your team to stream the event. This can be on PC or Console.
  • There is no need for microphones, or showing individuals faces. Only the stream of the game is required.
  • Streaming title will must have #DallasRugby and the name of your team.
  • Streams will need to be available for at least 24 hours after closing of event for review.
  • Person streaming will start streaming for team from beginning to end of tournament.
  • If person streaming is unable to stream for entire tournament, additional players will need to be streaming of all points made without streaming will be forfeited.
  • Streaming can not start in middle of match.
  • You and your team are responsible for all technical or connections issues.
  • Streaming platforms that are authorized are: Twitch, YouTube, Facebook Gaming.

Scoring & Submission

Scoring will be based upon the following criteria:

Kills1 point
5th place finishes10 points
4th place finish15 points
3rd place finish20 points
2nd place finish25 points
1st place finish30 points


  1. 4th 4th place with 10 total kills = 15 points for 4th plus an additional 10 points for kills totaling 25 points.
  2. 8th place with 12 total kills = no points for placement and 12 points for kills totaling 12 points

Tie breaker

Most combined team kills.


  • After the tournament, teams will report team kills and placement on a separate Google Form. YOU MUST SUBMIT SCREENSHOTS TO VALIDATE YOUR SCORES.
    • Event staff will count points, there is no need for you to do it.
    • A link to the form is below, and another link will be emailed on the day of the tournament.
  • Score submission window will close at 1:30 PM (CST) on September 12, 2020.
    • If you are unable to report your scores in the time frame, your team may be disqualified and no refunds will be given.
    • Note: The Google Form to submit scores requires a Gmail account to upload the screenshots of your scores. If you do not have a Gmail account, contact us at COD@dallasrugby.org and we’ll send another way for you to send your scores & screenshots.
    • If you are having a problem submitting scores, please email COD@dallasrugby.org.


  • Payouts will be made via PayPal.
  • Event staff will review every eligible team for prizes before officially giving away the purses. Winners will be announced the following Sunday (Sept. 13) and payouts will be made within 24 hours after announcement of winners.


  • Show respect to all involved
  • Be honest, be fair and follow rules
  • No discriminatory language
  • No extremely foul language
  • Do not share personal information about yourself or individuals


  • Cheating is prohibited from use under any circumstance while playing and will result disqualification, forfeiture of entry fee without refund, and banishment from future events.
    • Teams with Activision bans are not eligible to compete in any tournaments hosted by Dallas Rugby Football Club.
    • Dallas Rugby Football Club reserves the right to monitor any player we see fit during event.
  • If you think a team is cheating, report it by emailing COD@dallasrugby.org.

Fixing, glitches & bugs

  • Match-fixing/teaming of any kind are prohibited and will result in disqualification.
  • If a player uses an Activision account of another player to participate, it will result in team disqualification.
  • Kills made on AFK players that did not drop from the plane early game will not count.
  • Reverse boosting is not allowed.
  • KD tanking is not allowed.
  • Dallas Rugby Football Club reserves the right to monitor any player we see fit during event.
